Lost corn snake (sounds familiar, eh?)

OK, my adult female corn has been missing for about 5 months. I've pretty much given up hope, but after reading the stories here, I decided to ask for some help too. She is 5'1" long, a bit bigger around than a silver dollar. I live in a mobile home, so I fear she may have found her way out and under the house or floorboards. I also have a 3 year old (the snake is friendly and has never bitten anyone in the 3 years I have had her) so putting flour or plastic bags out won't work, as my daughter will just play in them, messing up my identifying trails. What's the best methos I could try that wouldn't get messed up by a wandering, curious 3 year old?
