I know Im probably preaching to the choir here, but when you get a snake dont underestimate its escape abillities. The best thing to do is get some kind of locks on the cage before you buy the snake. The best I have found yet for the glass terrariums are the screen tops built for the appropriate sized tank and the little metal clips that you can get at any pet store. put four of them on, one on each corner and you will not have an escapee crawling around the house. I had 2 ecapes before I learned my lesson.
