Lost snakes

Hello,

My friend has had no luck with corn snakes. He has owned three already and
two have escaped. The third tried to escape but he caught it. They were in
a custom made wooden cage and there is no gap for them to escape from. I
don't know how they do it. The wooden cage is split in half and he has a corn
snake on one side and a leopard gecko on the other. Every once in a while he
finds the corn snake hanging out with the leopard gecko...Very Weird.
