snake trap

In addition to keeping herps, I do some animal damage control work. I often get calls to remove snakes. Mostly black racers. Its all well and good when they have the snake in site, but when it cant be found, it looks bad on me. Anyone know of a reliable homebuilt snaketrap? I know about the 2 liter bottle, but that would be a little small for the 6 foot+ black racers we have here in SW VA. Thanks for your help.
