I lost my corn snake yesterday and I'm rather limited in tactics to use to find him. He's in a school classroom so I can't do the whole "listen for crinkling sounds at night" or "snap the lights on when it's dark" because I'm obviously not at school when it's dark. I have his heating pad and hide box on the floor on the warm side of the room (awat from the windows) as well as his water bowl in case he finds it and needs a drink. Hopefully he will sense the heat when he's cold and find his box. I'm bringing a couple of pinkies to school tomorrow and i'll put them in paper bags so someone will be able to hear the crunching sounds sometime throughout the day. The problem is..he ate just before he made his escape. Will he still go towards a mouse smell? I think I'm doing all I can right now..I'm just worried. Does anyone know how long a corn can go without drinking? I'm afraid he won't find a water source especially if he's holed up behind the cabinets or shelves.
