......put a pair of gloves on b4 you grab it......monitors are funnie animals when they gett loos allot of time they go back in to a wild mode.....what i mean by that is the consider themselves free and wont wanna be caught again so even if they are hand tame they might bite.
id sugest leaving a dead mouse on a paper play in the middle of the floor and watching it. if the monitor is hungry it will come to the food then be quick to grab it cause it will be quick to try and escape again....good luck
