Lost pine snake...HELP!

About 4 days ago I left that house for about 5 hours. When I got home my pine snake was missing. Cage was all just like it had been lid on and everything. I guess he pushed it up enough to get out.
Question is this...we had a base board off the wall working on something so there are some holes right near his cage. I am afraid he went down into the crawl space below the house. Do I have any chance at finding him? I don't think he can get outside, but it is cold down there...I am afraid he will not be moving much. Will he come back up where it is warm?
