The best suggestion is to find the warmest place in th room that you are ..

I keep 9 snakes and 2 monitors in my room and every time I have lost one of them or left them unattended (free in the room) and have tried to find them after they have always ended up in the excact same place.. wether it is a burm a carpet or a bal python .. even my moitors and snow bullsnakes once escaped always ended up in this one place ...

My top drawer of my dresser!!!! so when ever I loose a herp I simply open that drawer and there it is!!!
