Looking for a lost hatchling

Pretty sure he's still in the room due to the way the cats have been acting, but I've scoured the place.
I've got several plastic bags along the baseboards and a pinkie in a cup as a lure, but so far its been @ a week. Its in my bedroom, which you can imagine the amt of stuff in there. Not cluttered, but lots of furniture.
Carpeted floor. Wife doesn't want me spreading tape or flour, etc.
Any hints?
