: I'd suggest just calling the florida wildlife department, in Tallahassee, FL, and request to speak with someone over venomous reptiles. They may help you out, or they may not.. Most likely, they'll just say to submit and application and hope that you've wrote what they wanted to hea on it.

::I was always curious about this. Would I have to prove that I've spent 1000 hours with my own animals? I guess you'd have to have someone else care for your stuff while you applied for the permit, and then ship them back to you. Anyway, with only 2 hots, it would take me a while to build up 1000 hours when I only spend about 5 minutes a week actually working with each of them (feeding, one minute, cleaning up, 4 minutes).
