BORNEO BULLETIN (Brunei) 20 December 02 Small but deadly (Zureena Abdullah)
A cobra was caught at around 8pm last night at a compound of a house at Spg 250-45, Kg Lambak Kanan.
The owner of the house called for the Fire Services, whose personnel arrived just minutes later to catch the snake. The cobra, however young, was said to be very dangerous, as a single bite could prove fatal to human beings. The 2-foot long cobra was successfully caught by the fire personnel using special equipment (pictured) and was said to be released in another place, far from any residential area.
