Unlike in the case of "Pailsus rossignolii", you have now at least managed to persuade your e-mail correspondents to send you the ventral counts and the sex of the type specimens you have never seen, of species you know nothing about. Give it another 200 years or so, and you might be up to 1920's standards of evidence in your taxonomic descriptions.

In the meantime, I expect Ulrich Kuch will be less than chuffed at having been shafted by your taxonomic piracy yet again, since he has been working on Indonesian Acanthophis for a number of years.
