I teach bio and zoology in a high school. I like green anoles because they're easy to keep and cute. I also like Eastern spotted newts, as they're extremely easy to keep and really cute, too. I stay away from snakes and big stuff. Too costly, and I'm not one to feed anything higher on the phylogenetic scale to a reptile. Please remember that "herps" can ALSO mean amphibia!
