I am a special education teacher. Last year we had a Ball Python and the kids loved her. I traded her to another teacher that raises snakes and lizards. We have since added many more, so here is our list. We have one colony of leopard geckos, a colony of young bearded dragons. veil chameleon, crested geckos, Hissing roaches, a razor back musk turtle, and a pair of poison dart frogs. Hopefully will be adding more in the near future. The administration is supportive so far in my venture and the kids LOVE it.
