The Fall 98 Bulletin of the Canadian Association of Herpetologists announced the next annual meeting of the CANADIAN AMPHIBIAN AND REPTILE CONSERVATION NETWORK ... to include a meeting of the IUCN/SSC Task Force on Declining Amphibian Populations in Canada.
The meeting will take place October 15-18 1999 in Quebec City, Quebec. Further details TBA.
Planned events include a symposium on 'Perspectives on Herpetological Education and its relation to Conservation Biology' (Stan Orchard (Symposium) (250) 595-7556 sorchard@islandnet.com); and a herpetofauna field trip to Cote de Beaupre and Cap Tourmente.
