Pythons kind of go into hibernation state for a couple months out of the year i have been told but i dont know if this is true or not. And with large prey like a chicken or a rabbit or 2 that monster could fast "not eat" a couple months easy. If your still worried call around and find a vet that is expierenced with snakes and exotic animals sometimes they're hard to find but if you love your animals it is well worth it.
