Feeding

I have a question for the other educators out there. Do any of you feed your herps (snakes mainly) during classtime? There was a recent story going around about a teacher that fed puppies to a large snake in front of his elementary school class.(I hope this is one of those urban legends, but a coworker asked if I ever feed my snake in front of the students)I personally have not, nor ever will feed my snake in front of the students.( many of them have asked me to) But I was wondering what the rest of you folks do.
