This is my second year breeding beardies, I began with a 1.1, 1.0 was high red, 0.1 was bright yellow. Got them both at pet stores for pretty good prices. Last year I bought a Red X 0.1 and had her breed with my 1.0 High Red. She produced some eggs this year for her first time, they are huge. I have never seen anything like it. I measured them, and the smallest of 18 was 1 1/4" long. The biggest was almost 1 1/2". Is this normal? I can't take pic's as I do not have a digital camera, but these eggs are the biggest I have ever seen. I have only had 6 cluthces between last year and this, I'm no where near an expert, it just seems that these eggs are extemely large. And the Red X female who laid them is a little small, about 12 inches. Anyone with a similar experience? Thanks.
