here is what I do. I usually make a poster of sorts with many pictures and a description of each animal on it. I also incorporate live animals-usually ones native to my area-many of them pets-some will be never be able to be released due to dibilitating accidents-I have a painted turtle with a shell of part fiberglass-I found it on the road hit by a car-Live animals are a good way of getting attention to your presentation-I usually go over each animal with the kids I talk to and ask them if they have ever seen one. I also talk about conservation aspects and give them reasons not to take animals out of the wild. Another topic to talk about would be the salmonella issue. These are just a few examples. Hope they help.
