The recent issue's news column by some geology professor named "Ellen" claims that computer frog dissection has been shown to be as effective in the classroom as actual frog dissection, which she openly criticizes...I find the opposite to be true in my classes (6, 7 & 8), and find it contradictory that a college science professor should be advising anyone on how to teach, unless it's rote memorization and/or how to take massive amounts of notes. I get real tired of non-public school "experts" continually telling me how to teach the "right" way!!!
