Over time, the children in our school who have been in my classroom have watched two albino corn snakes grow from little babies into breeding adults. This year they watched in awe as the female laid her eggs and they were put in the incubator. Now some of the hatchlings are being adopted by the families of these same children. It's satisfying to support folks in their journey towards understanding. I try, whenever possible, to educate not just children, but their families as well.
