: I always check out this site but it seems a bit slow. This is a large continent with only three major countyriea on it so common folks I'm sure more is happenining. Lets hear about it.

Hello??? I teach High School Science in Los Angeles County, California. I keep a variety of Herps in my room depending on the time of year. What has been really great though, is having students and faculty bringing me new stuff they find.
I also find part time employment for students at local pet stores and businesses. I keep kingsnakes, milksnakes, Ball Pythons, Banded Geckos, Bullfrogs, box turtles, Desert Tortoises, Snow Corns, soft shell turtles, Arachnids, mealworms,
and crickets in my room. I have been teaching for three years full time, but was involved in humane education for 15 years prior.

Some teachers have problems with their administrators and reptiles. I have heard many ways around this if anyone has questions. I will check here often for new info or questions.

Carpe diem! CraigB
