There is a retic at the San Antonio zoo that will eventually pass Baby in length. She is 25 feet now (about 3 feet shorter) The retic however is only 275 lbs, but very healthy and still growing!
: Hi,
: I have been trying to figure out what the true, AUTHENTICATED, to-date, largest snake ever recorded is. I have recieved MANY differant opinions concerning retics and condas, but it's pretty much a 50/50 split between the two. I've heard some people say that it was a 32 ft. green anaconda, others say it was a 33 ft. retic, I've just recently read that there was a "Partialy authenticated" discovery of a 37 1/2 foot conda! I would like as much profesional opinion as any of you can give me, but most of all, proof of your claims. If anybody has pics of giant snakes... please post them or e-mail them to me. I'd really like to get this one right! Thanx a bunch,
: -Drew
