Was wondering if someone could help me with an evolutionary question? Here it is; the family, Viperidae has more dorsal scale rows than family Elapidae. Does this difference have any regard to the biology of the snakes or is it an "accident" that determined the pattern of scale rows for all their descendants? I would love it if you could please answer to the above email, with any information regarding this thank you!
