: CAMBRIDGE EVENING NEWS (UK) 09 March 00 School's slithery visitors : Youngsters came face-to-face with a variety of exotic reptiles when they visited a Cambridge school. : The children from Shirley Infant School in Chesterton met the animals from The Reptile Experience as part of an arts week. : They will produce work on the scaly visitors based on their experiences. : The reptiles included a corn snake, rosy boa, bearded dragon and a foot-long African millipede. : Bonita Rogers, the teacher who organised the event, said: "It was a wonderful experience for the children. They had a chance to : touch the reptiles and handle them themselves which they really enjoyed. : "Very few of them were scared and they all wanted to handle them." :
