Some buy them to be cool,, and then start to be involved because they love the animals, some never start to care abbout the animals, and some, like me, have always just liked the critters.We do face challenges, though- space, since its hard to get a parent to let me h0ouse them out of my room, $$$$ if we live in area where there are no jobs, and parental dislike of the hobby.That, an a girl seeing mice on the counter when she comes to visit wrecks your chances of a girlfriend for years, as she will tell everyone about said mice.Ahh well, the cost of herps.
