: Greetings,

: I saw the heading "Educators", and since educate is what I am trying to do, I figured I would introduce myself to the forum.

: I am the director of the new Ouranos International Snake Education Project. Our basic job is to teach people about snakes--living habits, behaviors, etc.--in the hopes of allaying some of the great fear that surrounds these animals. We are also going after hunters and poachers around the world in an attempt to preserve these beautiful creatures.

: Ouranos will soon (I hope) have a Web site up and running which may be of interest to students with Internat access. I will be sure to post when the site is functional.

: Best,
: Emilie J. Conroy

It sounds like a great idea! Give us some more information as to where you are located and what things you are doing, and what your future plans are.
There are a lot of good resources for information here at kingsnake.com. Go to Lucky's Page and see what some of look like and what kinds of animals
we keep. Also, if you want immediate information the Main Chat room is very active every night from 7:00 pm until
midnight.

Sincerely,
Craig Barnes
