about the tail shedding. i ended up picking up a small bottle of baby oil. rubbed it into the skin ( which was restricting blood flow to the end of the tail, bad bad..) let it soak for about 10 minutes, did it again and ran my fingers along the tail very gently for a couple of minutes and it all came off in little pieces on my fingers. worked very effortlessly. give it a shot if you have any troubles
