There is a fine line between flourescent lights and the Powersun and other similar bulbs. The flourescents are designed for smaller enclosures, and are the ones that the animal needs to be within a foot of the bulb, it is not the same with the powersuns, the range is about 5 feet i imagine. And they dont just stop giving off UVB, they burn out. Yes, I agree, natural light is better, but most uf us give powder suppliments with a effective UVB light, just one of those 2 things wont cut it. But you also have to understand that not all of us can have our dragons out in the sun because they are cold bloded. I cant do it, cause it is way too hot here, and way too dry, it just creates so many problems, so I try to avoid it. But maybe if you live in a place where the humidity is at least 50 and the temperautres arent 115, or too cold, im sure your fine.
