when i got first my baby water dragon from the NY reptile expo on 4/13/03, he was scrunched in a tupperware with 15 other CWDs... at least now he has room to roam. this is my first CWD.

he's abt 4 mos. old. this is a 45 gal tank. we plan on building him a large enclosure when he grows. he use a orchid bark/sphagnum peat moss substrate, he has a reptisun 5.0 3' long strip, three basking lamps (i use 75 watt plant food lights)-one is used to heat the water (temp/humid avg at 80-85 degrees & 75%), a tupperware tub w/ small filter-i change his water every other day (except if i notice a poo then i change it that day), a UTH on the soil side, and four types of repti-safe plants (parlor palm, air plants, ficus & schefflera arboricloa). the thermo/hygrometers (radioshack) are wireless, can be read from another room, and ring an alarm if levels fall below a certain preset that i determine).

he seems pretty happy in his new home. i welcome any comments for improvements.

ciao for now,
cyn
