This past Saturday, Terri Cox and Johnny Binder (Cameron Park Zoo, Waco) spoke to the DFWHS. In a discussion afterwards, Johnny was telling me about a conversation he had with the TNRCC office in Waco (TX). He asked if he were to dump the oil from his car down a storm drain, would he get in trouble. To which they said yes. Then he asked them what was the diference in spraying gasoline into crevices and such. They didn't have a good answer and seemed to be surpised that this was a common place practive among roundups.
Binder also said that they got roundups eleminated in McLennan County, but that was through the Health Dept.
