Juveniles are said to be quite difficult to find. Knowing T. c. triunguis' tendency to use woodland and edge woodland habitat, you might try sifting leaf litter in likely, well-drained spots. Some of the field studies have used trained Laborador retrievers to sniff them out, but I expect you don't have access to that. Good luck.
