Not all of Planet Pets' critters are kept properly either. They are housing Cuora amboinensis with Russian torts, in a dry setting. They are completely aquatic as juveniles and retain a good portion of that need as adults.
also, their hingebacks are in need of some serious care. I looked at one and informed the pesron about a scute that was peeling off the plastron. He said, "Oh, that's normal" adn then peeled it off...some blood was evident where he had pulled it off and simply said, "Well that's not good." Yeah...great attitude.
We are new in the area and finding it a difficult time to find QUALITY pet stores in the area (Fort Worth).
We would also be interseted in any info about any GOOD stores in the area.
