Our next meeting will be at the Fort Worth Nature Center on June 17, with naturalist Rob Denkhaus as speaker. We'll start the day about 1:30 or 2pm with a field trip at the nature center led by Rob. The FWNC is a very large place with habitats including marsh, riparian woodland, cross timbers woodland, prairie, etc. Members planning on attending the field trip should contact me beforehand so that we can make plans for appropriate numbers of people. I will post more specific info about the meeting and the location in the newsletter. The address of the FWNC interpretive center is 9601 Fossil Ridge Rd., Ft. Worth, TX. It is located on Lake Worth just off the Jacksboro Highway.
