As a member of the Education Services Team in TX Parks & Wildlife, I have the honor to participate in the Electronic Field Trips. These are live, 3 hour internet broadcasts. Classrooms can register in advance and receive information packets. On the date of EFTs, classrooms log on and hear & see professionals from all sorts of fields discuss & demonstrate various topics relating to the natural and cultural world around us. If, during the broadcast, students have questions, they can go to the chat room & ask. When possible, our guest experts answer those questions during the live telecast. If not, we have those same experts in the chat room to anwer them over the internet.

Our next EFT is May 3rd @ 8:30A.M. & will feature river sysytems & include a live dive 100 miles off the Texas coast - a 1st on the internet! For more information, go to the TPWD website & click on Electronic Filed Trip and follow the instructions. One can also view archived webcasts we've done in the past. - Steve
