: Just to clarify about the meeting on Dec. 4 at TX Reptile Expo in Arlington: anyone interested in joining and becoming active in the DFW Herp Society is welcome to attend. This will be an organizing meeting - that is, there won't be a speaker giving a talk. We will be finishing up making decisions about how the society will run and who's doing what. The meeting will be at 5:30pm. Please do attend if you're interested in joining the society. We'll announce the time and place of the January meeting, which WILL be a regular society meeting with a program. : James and Bonnie Arnold of TX Reptile Expo are generously providing a table for DFW Herp Society at the Expo on Dec. 4 & 5. Please come by and see us. We'll have membership forms for joining and a sign-up sheet to receive our first newsletter (even if not yet a member). The newsletter should be out by mid-December, and will have some original articles, announcements, and other items. : For herp society business, I'll be using this email address (txgarter@yahoo.com). Please feel free to contact me. Andrea Grumbeck plans to be active within the society but at this point time constraints will prevent her serving as membership director.
