I told him that some people use it for horses and he said that "Texas is very picky about what is used on horses and maybe it can't be sold here". I don't know if this is true, it if they juy was just making something up to get me out of the store?

Are you asking for Nolvasan by name? You may have better luck asking for Chlorhexidine Solution. There are several Generics out there that use the Chlorhexidine Solution name. They are all Chlorhexidine 2%, your just paying for the name with Nolvasan. You might check into Tractor Supply? I've seen it once or twice at the Tractor Supply by us in Cleburne. You may have better luck with the Feeds Stores as well asking for Chlorhexidine. You also know that it's a concentrate that you dilute to use as a disinfectant right? We've had a gallon now that we're not even half thru after 4 months.
