I should add that at the time I didn't know they were Similis. It's only recently through all the pics I've seen that I realized they were Similis. I'm far from an Ig Expert!

:I live in Tampa,Florida and there are Similas on Gasparilla Island. I was there in 2001. I'm planning to go back to check to take a count of how many I see this summer.

::I caught what must have been close to a hatchling on Gasparilla Island
:: Boca Grande FL in July of 1998 she was mostly green at the time
::I still have her and shes very tame. Mark M. Ientified her as a similis and she looks like the pictures posted below.
