:They are one of my favorite lizards just don't have room for every animal I like. Any pics? I can post them for you. Tom

I only have 2 at this point and the large Similis will make 3, but I suspect I'll buy more if they look good. How can you beat the price, especially if the animal is in good health and condition and is big. I've gotten rid of MANY a Cteno because I couldn't wait for them to put some size on. They grow so slow! LOL Perhaps I'll get one of the super large 4 footers just to see what a Cteno that big actually looks like! I've kept LOTS of Ctenos throughout my herp keeping time, most were medium to large (3 foot) w.c. animals.(OUCH! LOL)
The larger ones were always super aggressive animals that would really hurt you if you weren't careful, but back in the day the avaerage herp person couldn't get a Cyclura the way you can get them now so the Ctenos were the next closest thing to them.
I have old pictures of some of the Ctenos I had growing up and I'll try to dig them up.
Looking back, I had some very uncommon and pricey Ctenos back then. They were animals I paid about $25 for because the dealers didn't want to deal with a big/aggressive lizard and also their worth wasn't fully realized in those days.

Bobby
