:I posted before about a spiny tailed iguana my husband had gotten me for my B-day. I was very worried about how I would house him when he got big so I traded him for a dwarf club tailed. this was about a week ago. the club tailed is only a baby about 7" long from nose to vent.
:I have three different green iguana books which aren't a lot of help and there isn't a lot on the inter net about club tailed iguana care.
:The new iguana was skin and bones and I am have trouble getting him to eat. Sunday he ate but only because I put his salad in mashed banana, just to get some food in to him, Monday the mashed banana salad dressing didn't work. As he started eating I was going to cut back on the dressing until he was eating just salad. Today I made a regular salad, collard green, moist alfalfa, green bean, a couple of peas, and carrots, fig, rose petal, all dices up in to tiny pieces. I put this on an ice pack so it would stay fresher but he doesn't have to stand on the ice pack to eat.
:Any suggestions on how to get him to eat?
:Also when he poops he is only pooping the white part. I am going to give him a warm bath to day to see it that helps. If not what should I do to help him?
:Thank you all for your help. Sorry this is so long.
