There are plenty of illegal things sold in pet stores. That is unfortunate because some things are illegal for good reason. Most chameleons are wild caught. But now that veileds and panthers are very commonly bred and almost none are taken from wild populations they should be allowed.
Again I hope your right...because I've had my rhino for 4 months. If I had check first I wouldn't have gotten it.
Thanks for the input,
::PS: The tegu is doing great now! Thanks for asking.
:I don't think there are any restrictions in Mass regarding the keeping of Iguanids.
:I see them offered at several shops and and even at flea markets!
:Cyclura are also sold at select shops in Mass and I among others keep Cyclura in this state with no problems.
:Mass IS one of the most uptight, conservative, racist, screwed up states going, this coming from a person born and raised here all my life so I wouldn't be surprised if there is a law or restriction written somewhere. I just haven't researched it.
:Get your Cyclura and enjoy!
