I was telling myself that she probably did it herself. Did she lose the eye or just damage it? Bobby had some good suggestions down below. I'm sure she'll recover quickly. We have had several rescues that have been blind in one eye...a Burmese Python, a Tokay, an Iguana. I'm posting a photo of Kermit and Jimmie. Jimmie, the one on top, has no eye on the side that you are seeing. She lost it to a cat a few years ago. She functions very well as a freeroamer and is very healthy. Kermit was also attacked, but by another iguana. He lost a good part of his lip, upper jaw, and an entire nostril, and has a severed tear duct on one eye. These two lizards are good examples of animals that have survived massive injuries and gone on to lead full, healthy lives. I'm glad to hear that Bella will be alright. Isn't it amazing how quickly you get attached to the little buggers? :) Good luck and give Bella a head rubbie for me, please.
