not only do I not get to go herpin' anymore but I don't get on the computer very much either! Interesting snake Brendan. I agree about the tongue. It might be worth keeping and breeding. In colubrids lack of pigmentation in the tongue or elswhere such as the venter where it is normally present is sometimes an indicator for the presence of genes for hypo-melanism or amelanism. Is that a South Mountain? If so all the extra dark speckling on the head makes it all the more interesting.
