When I do have to move a snake, it's usually just far enough away so that the frightened homeowner can stop freaking out. That's where the hook and tongs come in handy. But that's only when a snake has been menaced by a hairless monkey. When I'm out traipsing in snake-held territory, a camera works just fine....
