Without knowing exactly where they came from, I would say that your snakes are entirely consistent with "pure" laticinctus. Intergrades between laticinctus and contortrix generally end up looking like mokasen or phaeogaster. In fact, some of the older books listed mokasen as occurring in Texas along what is now known to be the intergrade zone.
