"The natural history of mexican rattlesnakes" by Armstrong and Murphy. It has most of the info plus some black and white photos. There is a color photo in Mattisons "Rattler" and also in one of the original "Vivarium" issues (the one with the centerfold on small rattlesnakes)It seems they come in two color phases, a reddish and a greenish gray.
