Hello, I direct a wildlife center near Chicago and we have an extensive collection of native herps including venomous (plus many non-natives, raptors, etc.). We are making a "static" display depicting a fake (but very real looking), 3.5' timber in its natural element that will be on our display. The person making the display would love to get a REAL rattle (any species fine) for this specimen as he feels it will add a lot to the display.
All of our rattlesnake's rattles are fully intact so am trying to see if anyone out there has a rattle that may have broken off that they would be willing to donate to a wildlife center for the purpose of education. I will gladly pay any boxing/shipping fees.
Thank you,
Rob Carmichael, Director
