C. cerastes and water....

Has anyone heard about C. cerastes creating is own water, chemically or otherwise? Someone was telling me about it and thats how i understood it. This would be an amazing evolutionary trait if it was true. Can anyone elaborate on this? BTW, i believe it was found in a book called something like "Rattlesnakes: a predator" or something like that (i know thats wrong but it has the word predator in it, lol). Someone please elaborate.
