I have not dealt with mouth rot but have dealt with an eyelash with an impacted fang and a serious mouth infection. After a visit to a vet. I feel very comfortable with, some minor work was done to remove the fang and I was given chlrohexidine flush to wash out its mouth and clear up the infection. I used a syringe and a long piece of cathater tube to apply the flush and it worked great.
