i do live within the rqange of the sidewinder so hummidity should not be to much of a problem, my parents hate the idea but they will allow it, and finally i have checked with the two nearest hospitals and both have the proper antivenom is there anything GOOD that I can tell my parents about keeping hot herps, all she hears is the negative publicity.
thank you
~Justin

::Justin: Three things missing. One...do you live within the geographic range of the sidewinder? If not, do you live in a more humid climate? If this is the case, housing the animal outdoors where you cannot micro-control the temp & humidity will probably not work. Second...Do you still live with your parents? If so, they should be consulted after they have been made aware of the potential risks & expenses involved. Last: Do you have a solid local source for antivenin? If not, can you afford to provide your own before you aquire the animal?
